Brian Freedman

A journalist at heart with developed skills in digital media, I currently run a one-person digital communications team for a human rights, international nonprofit based in Washington. Just like I did when I was a journalist, I am always searching for a good story to tell and a good story that people will want to hear. Nonprofit organizations suffer from not telling their story well, or if they do tell their story well, they are not reaching enough people or telling it through effective and impressive-looking media. Digital media, or social media, are key (and inexpensive) outlets through which nonprofit organizations can reach a large audience with well-designed, well-though-out and compelling stories that highlight the impact the organization has on real people.
